KRISZTIAN TEJFEL
LIMITED EDITIONS

Available July 17 – 28 Only

This print is part of a series that deconstructs the world of 18th-century Rococo picnics. By breaking down the classic compositions of Fragonard and Watteau into their core elements, I explore the eternal relationship between humanity and nature, using these historical fragments to spark a dialogue with our present.

Just as people back then escaped into the outdoors to flee rigid court etiquette, we seek the exact same retreat today only the nature of the pressure has changed. This piece is meant to be a sanctuary: a timeless space for lingering where the viewer can drop the weight of everyday life and simply dissolve into the pure atmosphere.
